Troubleshooting Steps if Google Sites Custom Domain URL NOT working | Godaddy Custom Domain URL not working with Google Sites

Problem:

Google Sites Custom Domain URL NOT working with Godaddy

Solution:

Method 1 - When you are doing Owner Verification, make sure you are using same Gmail login in Webmaster Central and Google Sites:

Method 2 - Make sure you don't have any other/extra CNAME record in Godaddy DNS.

Only 2 CNAME records will present, first for Owner Verification and second for Custom domain mapping.

Method 3- Click on "Share icon", Make sure you have selected "Public" option in Published site
